My Celtic Journey

Peace Through Journaling

IMG_1056

The benefit of journaling, time for God, time with self, time with God.

Do you feel that you have too much on your mind? Write it down on paper, there is no wrong way to journal, the only wrong thing is not to start. Begin to journal, pour it all out on paper.

Remember it’s not to be some literary masterpiece, it’s listening to your life, and listening to what God wants to say to you.

In the privacy of a given moment, make some time and take a step toward unraveling the truth of what is going on in your life, write down your feelings, ideas, struggles, fears, hopes, what is holding you back from reaching your full potential?

Enter into a process that is good for you, find the rhythm, every day, every month, just when you need too, journal, unburden yourself, make and take  that quiet moment.

Get a cheap notebook or a fancy journal and a good pen and enjoy the flow of just writing, as the pen meets the paper.

Invite God to speak to you, asking the question. What do you want to say to me today Lord?

You might have a pleasant surprise and God speak with a word so encouraging it blows you away, filling you with thankfulness and joy.

“I wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.” Psalm 62:5 NLT
